Southeastern Kentucky Beekeepers Association

The Southeast Kentucky Beekeepers meet at the Laurel County Cooperative Extension Service on the 3rd Thursday of each month from March through October. Meetings begin with a potluck dinner at 6 PM, so please bring a covered dish to share. Whether you're an experienced beekeeper or just starting out, everyone is welcome!



2018 Beekeeping Workshop Series

Laura Rogers, Small Farm Area Agent with Kentucky State University, will be presenting our Spring 2018 Beekeeping Workshop series.  This year's sessions will include:

  • February 26th - Sustainable Beekeeping

  • March 8th - Beekeeping Hardware

  • April 23rd - Bee Diseases

  • May 21st - Honey Harvest and Marketing

All of the workshops start at 6 PM at the Laurel County Extension Office.  For more information or to register, call our office at 606-864-4167.
