The Kentucky Proud Evenings series continues Thursday, Aug. 22, with Lexington novelist Margaret Verble discussing her book of historical fiction, “Cherokee America.”
Laurel County Extension Council and District Board Meetings
The Laurel County Extension Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019, at 7 PM at the Laurel County Extension Office. The agenda will include planning for a fall farm tour and recent staffing changes at Extension.
The Laurel County Extension District Board will meet immediately following the council meeting. The board meeting agenda will include a review of proposed tax rates; estimates for building improvements; and program council budget reports.
The public is invited to attend these meetings.
