Agriculture and Natural Resources program provides non-formal education in the areas of agricultural production, homeowner plantings, and natural resource utilization. Specific programs include information on food production, farm business management, marketing and processing agricultural products, natural resource management and home lawn and garden information. We address issues dealing with environmental stewardship, the rural-urban interface, and value-added enterprises.

CAIP Project & Receipt Deadline

Due to adverse weather conditions, several CAIP projects have been delayed. Therefore, the deadline to turn in project receipts has been changed to August 31st at 4 PM.

All receipts must be turned in to the Laurel County Extension Office by this deadline. Only paid receipts will be accepted (no charge tickets). Receipts must include the vendor’s name and address.

Laurel County Cattlemen's Association: Fall Field Day

The Laurel County Cattlemen's Association will hold their annual Fall Field Day on September 17th. The event will be hosted at David Hammons' farm in London, KY.

Registration will begin at 5:30 PM and the dinner and program will start at 6 PM.

For planning purposes, we ask that you call the Laurel County Extension Office at 864-4167 to register. This event is for paid Cattlemen members and their families.
